Teachers’ Day 2023-24
Teachers’ Day was celebrated with full vigour and enthusiasm. One of the Faculty Members Mrs. Vaishali Ramdas Lohar, Senior KG Teacher was the Chief Guest of the Day. Students honoured and thanked their Teachers with Bouquets, gifts, pointing their virtues, etc which made the Teachers really to be more and more committed to their noble profession. Principal Rev. Fr. Biju Kottackal, Bro. Rijo Vincent and General Coordinator Rev. Sr. Simi along with other Teachers adorned the occasion.
Raksha Bandhan
We celebrated Raksha Bandhan, a fine gesture of Brother- Sister love in 2 phases. The first phase was making Rakhi from Waste Materials and the best Rakhis were awarded. The second phase was the Celebration part for which Dr. Prajakta Bhamre was the Chief Guest. The Chief Guest tied Rakhi on the Principal’s wrist followed by Girls on Boys’ wrists. The Principal in his address, twinned the legendary story of Raksha Bandhan with Onam. The presence of the Principal, General Coordinator and Brother was really a cherry on the cake.
Talentia-Chavara Sitare Season12
We are very glad to announce on November 29, 30 and 1st of December 2023 we conducted Talentia competition, in the presence of Mrs. Sonal Jain ma’am Rev.Father Biju, Rev.Sr. Simi and Rev. Br Rijo.
Our chavarites presented their talents, skills and won prizes in various competitions.
Opening ceremony of “Chavara Wonder Kids School”
We are glad to announce that, Once again we are going to start our Chavara kindergarten from June 2024 at Jay Narayan complex, opposite municipal garden, Chopda.
For that, on 3 January 2023 we blissfully inaugurated “ Chavara Wonder Kids”
The inagurational ceremony was harnest with the presence of Rev. Fr. Tenny Parakka, Rev. Fr. Joseph Akara, Rev.Fr. Biju, Rev Sr. Simi, Rev. Bro. Rijo and PTA vice president Mrs. Poonam Gujarathi.
Patron’s Day Celebration
oday (January 04, 2024) we celebrated Patron’s Day along with the drawing competition for the KG kids and Chavara Quiz competition for the teachers. Program was led by Mr.Umesh Sonawane sir.
The chief guest of the program was Our Principal Rev.Fr.Biju Kottackal and General coordinator Rev.Sr. Simi ,Rev bro.Rijo adorned the occasion.

Independence Days Celebration
Today(15th August,2023) we celebrated independence day along with speeches and house wise patriotic song competition. The chief guest of the program was Ex service man Gopal Sonawane Sir, Rev Fr Biju Kottackal , Rev Bro Rijo , General cordinator Rev. Sr Simi and a good number of parents graced the occasion. Students enjoyed dance on patriotic song and a skit based on patriotism
Diwali & Children Days Celebration
Today (8.11.2023) we celebrated Diwali and Children’s Day function. The chief guest of program was Dr. Swapna Patil, ENT specialist, Susmit Hospital, Chopda. We were obliged with the gracious presence of our principal Resp. Rev. Fr. Biju Kottackal, Rev. Bro. Rijo, General Co-ordinator Rev. Sr. Simi, Rev. Sr. Jincy, all teachers and students. The chief guest enlighted the day by imparting knowledge about Diwali festival and Children’s day. The skit explaining the detailed celebration of Diwali festival and the games arranged by teachers’ for Children’s day added feather to the cap.
Republic Days Celebration
Chavara International School Akulkheda, Chopada, celebrated the 75th Republic Day with enthusiasm and glory. The school was decorated with flags, flowers and balloons. The event consisted of flag hoisting, speeches by the dignitaries and students, dance, songs etc. in the presence of school principal Rev. Fr. Biju, honourable Chief Guest Mr. Sandip Vitthal Badgujar, an ex-serviceman, in the Indian Army, General Coordinator Rev. Sr. Simi, Rev. Sr. Jincy, teaching and non-teaching staff and students. The event started with the principal of the school and Chief Guest, unfurling the National Flag and hoisting it followed by the National Anthem. After flag hoisting a small program was arranged.
Charity Day Celebration
In a heartwarming display of compassion and generosity, Chavara International School celebrated Charity Day with a great success on Saturday, February 17, 2024
The day commenced with a vibrant assembly followed by the grand opening of Charity Day where honourable Principal Rev. Fr. Biju Kottackal shared about the importance of giving back to the community, emphasising the impact that a small acts of kindness can have on those in need
Throughout the day, various fundraising activities took place across the school premises. Students enthusiastically participated showcasing their talents and creativity while contributing to the noble cause. The Chavara Auditorium was filled with stalls of delicious food. Students enjoyed different games in front of the stage. For Charity, envelopes were distributed to the parents and well wishers for fundraising
19.02.2024 Celebration of Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti
All the students, along with the teachers, gathered together for celebrating ‘Shiv Jayanti’. The program started with the grand rally. The portrait of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was honored with garland, and then everyone enjoyed various cultural programs related to Shiv Jayanti. At 10: 00 a.m., the state song was played, and after that, Rev. Fr. Biju Kottackal, our Principal delivered a speech in the state language. We rallied from Chopda Membatti Chowk to Shivaji Chowk with great excitement, showcasing different activities. Our Principal & Teachers garlanded the statue of Shivaji Maharaj, and finally, we concluded the program.
Marathi Day Celebration
Chavara International School Akulkheda, Chopda celebrated ‘Marathi Day ‘ on 27 February ( Tuesday)at 8 am. with the school assembly.
The programme was hosted by Miss Shital teacher. There were speeches by our school principal Rev. Fr. Biju Kottackal , Miss . vrushali and by the Student, Miss . Moksha Mahajan . Mr. Vishvesh Sir presented a Marathi poem कणा . programme had been completed by the national anthem.
